For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: One osprey perched on side of nest. The other osprey was in the marsh hunting but attacked a cormorant near my boat that was close to the nest. He was certainly protecting the area around the nest.

Other Activity: An adult was perched in the nest, but at the edge. A second adult was in the matsh nearby. No interaction with young or little heads were visible today.

Other Activity: Female on the nest with a lot of wing activity. Male on perch quite a distance from platform to the northeast.

Observation Method: Pulled into UPS Facility and parked at rear. (Northeast corner. Stood on short ladder with scope to try to confirm nestlings.

Observation Method: Walked to edge of Saugus River having parked at Rt. 107 pull off area. Accessed via cut in fence. Used scope and binoculars.
