For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: Female in nest entire time. Only head visible. Male arrived later. Didn’t seem to have a fish. Landed and stood on edge of nest so hopeful.

Other Activity: There might be chicks because Ollie & Olivia have been up on the nest more in the last few days & Olivia is standing on the nest more often. I can't see any chicks yet because there is vegetation growing all around the outside of the nest. Eagle Knievel was in the tree outside our window & Olivia flew at him while Ollie guarded the nest. Then Ollie & Olivia chased him downstream.

Other Activity: Male is perched on the perching post on the nest on platform 2. Female is actively feeding two very hungry chicks. There may be a third chick, but it is not visible.

General Comments: Another successful nest. Hurrah!
