For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Three nestlings that are getting very large. Lots of wing flapping! I’m sure soon to fledge.

Observation Method: Parked in Rt 107 pull-out / used scope & binoculars for viewing. Cut in fencing has been closed. Viewing with scope placed above folded over chain link fence

General Comments: while I have not posted often, I have looked often. The pair whose eggs were stolen, continue to perch one or both on each of the two platforms, #2 and #4 in the morning and/or evening daily. They seem to enjoy 'owning' both.

General Comments: Surprised to see the adults after a couple of visits with no siting. One adult was in nest feeding self. The second adult was on perch. Both looked very healthy
