For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Both chicks were up on the nest when either Ollie or Olivia arrived with a fish. They were flapping and jumping so hard they couldn't decide whether to eat or flap.

Other Activity: Male perched on platform 3, female and 3 fledglings on nest on platform 2. Female and all 3 fledglings feeding themselves. All three young have fledged and flown from the nest to other platforms. This morning one of the fledglings was away from the area for more than half an hour, but eventually flew back to the nest very shakily.

Other Activity: Adult perched on the tower before the tower with the nest , hard to say if was a nestling or fledgling on the nest , or even another adult , will attempt to get closer as I was about to leave an adult flew into the nest . Incredible .

Other Activity: Squam on distant perch while Annie fed both chicks and herself. She left the nest at 5:43, followed by Squam. One fledgling flew and circled to the distant perch while the other tested its’ wings and hovered over the nest. Both fledglings were on the nest at 6pm.

Other Activity: Like clockwork, Bob brings in meals in the morning, noon and early evening. The fledglings make sure they are at the nest and they really tear into the fresh fish. Have not observed them bringing in any fish themselves.

Other Activity: 1 adult and 1 large nestling/fledgling standing at edge of nest. Don't know if the youngster has left the nest and come back or not. Had borrowed scope. Another adult left nest as I got there and soared over calling, then flew off.
