For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Female was in the nest, male arrived, female left and returned with a twig then resettled in the incubating position.

Observation Method: by scope from Winter Island near Harbormaster shack.

General Comments: Not optimistic but we'll keep checking.

Weather Conditions: Overcast, 72, light breeze, just past high tide

Other Activity: One adult soaring overhead. One small Osprey perched on top of pylon. Assume it's a fledgling. One adult and one nestling in nest, visible intermittently. Lots of flapping from the adult.

Observation Method: On foot, binoculars, from across cove

General Comments: I'm not 100% sure, but the perched bird seemed too small to Be an adult
