For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: Between the sunlight and the blowing wind, it was a little hard to see today. I could not confirm that an osprey was in the nest until the second bird flew in briefly and she lifted up for a moment before hunkering down again.
