For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: One osprey observed sitting in the nest. I think it's early for eggs, and I have only seen 1 there, so maybe it was just settled in for the night.

Other Activity: When I arived one osprey was on nest. Then after about 5 minutes a second one came and landed on the perch next to the platform with a fish, which after some wing flapping presumably fish was struggling, it started eating it.
