I turned my car around, and pulled to the roadside, and with my binoculars identified the large bird as a male osprey that was eating the head off of a large fish that he was holding while perched on the branch. This tree was located approximately 1.5 miles from the Middle Road Parker River Platform where I had seen no osprey. **
Observation Method: In my vehicle on Middle Rd and on foot near the Govs Academy Alfond Center; both times w/ binoculars.
