For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: One nesting on platform, perhaps incubating. The other perched below.

Observation Method: Walked out to edge of river via cut in fence at route 107 pull out area used scope for viewing.

General Comments: Greenbelt scheduled to straighten up platform on April 23.

General Comments: Female on nest, and then a male appeared and began meeting with nested female

Other Activity: One osprey perched another flying by a few times and then perching on nearby radio tower. Also two others a little ways back by the road hunting over the marsh. Not sure if one was the same as before or two new osprey. One flew by with a fish heading towards boston.
