For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: one adult on rocks next to nest feeding on flounder, second adult active around nest bathing and perched on nest. The two adults became agitated when a drone was flown into the area. Third adult tried to move in on the nest actually brought material from the beach to the nest.

Other Activity: Both birds on nest when I arrived. Bird 1 flew ty nearby snag and Bird 2 attempted copulation. Both birds then perched next to each other on the branch. Vocalizations were heard X2. Both birds flew back to nest and copulated, then sat together on nest. Bird 2 flew off to the right and out of sight.
