For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: At 7:30 the male was on the nest & a little while later he was pulling at sticks that were part of the nest. At 1:30 we saw the female with him on the nest. He flew off & brought back a fish.

Other Activity: The osprey was standing at the edge of the river & then flew and circled & went out of sight. About 15 minutes later he was circling nearer to the nest but didn't land. He then flew out of sight up river. This is the first sighting this season.
