For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: Can’t expect anything better than this; it’s a beautiful marsh day, breezy, very sunny. I just wish this platform were occupied.

Other Activity: Not that this relates to ospry, but lots of other birds around. Noisy ;). Redwing Blackbirds and a number of different kinds of sparrows, a few butterflies Can’t expect anything better than this it’s a beautiful day just wish this platform was occupied. starlings have been visiting and light on the platform now and then.

Weather Conditions: 70F, beautiful a few clouds, no wind

Other Activity: one OSPR perched; a 2nd OSPR arrived and the 1st OSPR flew away. No sight of chicks.

General Comments: 2 great egrets flew in and settled along the coast by the manufactory
