For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: From Raddin St. we saw what we think was1 adult & 2 nestlings on the nest at 10:30. Later at around 11:00 we drove to the end of Margin St. & had a view from a different side. There was 1 adult on the nest and it flew away when some fishermen arrived on the dock just under the nest.

Other Activity: Two juveniles on the nest with one adult osprey One adult made a landing with a fish, dropped the fish and left the nest to fly over Choate Island. Watched 4-5 Osprey flying over Choate Island above the brown house

Other Activity: one adult at nest, one on post perch; nest bird flew off, returned with a large stick, proceeded to work it into the nest; one chick was clearly visible; there might have been a second chick, but I wasn't sure

Other Activity: One adult osprey perched on an otherwise empty nest. About 20 later, fledgling in the nest and adult perched on the nest. Watch the fledgling fly off the nest, retrieve a stick from the marsh and bring the stick to the nest.
