For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: five osprey perched on platforms and utility poles on Ferry Road. Lots of flying from perch to perch and calling to each other. The entire family seems to still be present.

Other Activity: Three young and 1 adult perched. Later, 2 of the young flew off and retd a few times. The adult left, retd, then left again. The other young ate the whole time. Unable to verify if it had ever flown.

Other Activity: Adult perched, 2 nestlings nestled below, then eventually perched. No other activity by them. Adult left briefly then returned and the fledgling returned also to perch on a nearby piling.
