Observation Method: From Pines Trail lookout deck. I observed an osprey flying past the pool with a large fish toward the nest so immediately drove to the pines trail. When I could see the nest there was a tussle occurring on and around the nest between two osprey and a turkey vulture. One osprey chased the vulture off. One osprey remained on nest, the chaser went to the adjacent pole and appeared to be eating. The vulture again swooped the nest and the chaser again chased it away. The osprey returned to the nest and both remained. It remained calm at that point.
