For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: one osprey i n nest feeding. @ fledglings pertched together on pier remains in Saugus River... One osprey perched on stick in marsh then flew up to platform #2.. Osprey in nest flew off. 2 of 3 fledglings flew off of pier into air and did some acrobatics together before flying back and perching back on pier.

General Comments: while walking back to my work building away from the river, I heard ospreys crying louldly from above..I looked up to see about 4 ospreys circling high above overhead vocaliizing very loudly

Other Activity: Male adult left and the three young alternately perched and reclined. One flew off, circled around and landed. The adult male returned with a fish and left again. The fledgling ate until satisfied. The nestlings ate afterward.

General Comments: I scanned the area but didn't find the female.

Weather Conditions: 87℉ Mostly clear but some clouds; slight intermittent breeze
Other Activity: One osprey perched on tree quite a distance from nest. Not certain if adult or fledgling. Flew to nest; stayed about 10 minutes calling; flew to East after circling many times in woodsy area; then disappeared.
Observation Method: On foot.
General Comments: Thought I heard a return call from another bird, but there was no indication of that from one who was on nest at the time.
