For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: one bird perched on driftwood east of platform the platform west of that on a small square structure has no Osprey in the area the platform west of that, on a larger square structure with lots of vegetation on top: one bird at the nest, second bird flew in with a fish, dropped it off, flew to the post perch, and bird at the nest began feeding itself

Other Activity: one bird in nest, looks like busy doing something; one bird on post perch; THEN a second male flew in with a fish, it and the bird in the nest seemed to be feeding on it for a couple of minutes, then the bird that brought in the fish flew of with it - the bird on the post perch remained there the entire time

Other Activity: male brought in a nice fish, female immediately began tearing it apart and feeding - I could see one chick head well, but it looked like she was also directing the bites to a second location in the nest there was also a third Osprey down in the grasses, feeding itself platform directly across the river: one bird perched on platform post, a second bird in the nest site south of that (looks like it's on a small duck blind}: one bird perched at nest, can't tell any more about it site south of that (larger duck blind): one bird, maybe two, at the nest
