For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 69F, 79%humid, 9 mph wind (but it seemed much windier), high tide, overcast

Other Activity: both adults were perched on the nest when I started watching; one nestling popped up briefly; then one adult OSPR flew away

Other Activity: Female and 2 chicks were perched. Chicks are small and were chirping to be fed. Male arrived about 10 minutes later with nice looking fish, and the chicks started feeding.

General Comments: We have 3 chicks!! Up until today I was only seeing 2 at a time. Ollie was perched in the nearby tree while Olivia was feeding the chicks. They are growing so fast & stretching their wings.
