For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. General Comments: female in nest feeding two good-sized chicks, male on post perch also - 1) platform directly across the river: one adult on post perch, then flew away 2) south of that, platform on open square structure: at least three birds at/on/in nest - I can't tell size or age 3) platform south of that, on a large square structure, huge nest on top - there was a bird on/in the nest

Other Activity: Two osprey perched on nest. A third osprey arrived and swooped down to nest and was chased off by one of the nest pair. The third osprey made several attempts but was chased off each time.

Other Activity: Female standing inside nest for first 15 minutes of observation, then male flew in and joined her.
Observation Method: On foot with scope.
General Comments: I observed both the male and female inside nest the entire time I was monitoring from afar at the Wingaersheek Salt Marsh Platform.
