For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 65ºF; partly sunny/cloudy; light breeze (Felt more like 80℉!); was 78℉ when left (Felt more like 90℉ upon departure)
Other Activity: 1 adult & 3 babies on nest; looked as if they were feeding, bobbing up & down; adult flew away; babies on nest rim, taking turns flapping wings & raising themselves several inches above nest before falling in again; babies alone for many minutes; still alone when I left

General Comments: It was really hot...won't try to observe at noon again. I brought a friend with me who saw a large bird on a lower branch of nearby tree. I could not spot it but was probably one of the adults.

General Comments: Nest appeared empty when I arrived. Two adults flew in , one perched on the nest the other on the pole. Saw one fledgling land on nest not sure whether or not the second one was there all along, I did see it testing it's wings. I'm thinking that the other two nestling also fledged
