For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 48 degrees, cloudy/overcast, really high tide - all waterways full, amazingly no wind, quiet
Other Activity: Female Osprey definitely incubating on the nest, male Osprey perched on a large piece of old wood to the right of the nest. The male flew onto the nest, then perched on the marsh perch to the left of the nest. The female aerated the nest and settled in to continue incubation. Plenty of ducks and gulls around.
Observation Method: on foot - at first on a small slope to gain some height perspective, and then on the marsh

Other Activity: Osprey lying inside nest. Other osprey on platform perch stick at first, then moved to inside nest and both osprey move around slowly like they are tending to nest.
