For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 66 degrees, sunny, blue skies, no clouds, high tide, creeks filled to the brim, some wind, beautiful!

Other Activity: 1 Osprey stayed on the nest incubating the entire time. 2 Ospreys flying in the distance towards Plum Island, joined by a 3rd Osprey. Soaring, then perching Turkey vultures, observed as well. 1 more Osprey soaring over Rough Meadows, as I was leaving.

General Comments: still extremely difficult to see anything. I can only presume she's incubating, and I can't see from my Salem vantage point if there are any eggs. Hopefully, I can get permission from the Beverly side of the river to get a closer look.
