For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 45 degrees, bright blue skies, low tide, breezy, beautiful!
Other Activity: One Osprey on the nest, male joins her for mating attempt then perches on nest perch. Another mating attempt, then they both soar off. 3:15 PM, they are both back at the nest. Male flies off, returns with a stick delivery. Then the male soars off the nest, as a third Osprey flies above and through the nest area. Male returns to the nest perch. Female O is still in the nest. Isabelle & I see B. up the hill. We wave and say hello, "from a distance." Good to see her and the Osprey pair again!

Other Activity: One Osprey in the nest. Later another Osprey was flying low over the marsh for quite a ways before landing up on the edge of the nest. Wonderful to see this pair together!
