For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: NGrid has done some major landscaping around my usual observation site under the Salem tower. New fence & no trespass signs, but the signs are on the fence and probably mean the area inside the fence. There is still a footpath surrounding the tower that has been cleared and covered with straw. I think it's still OK to observe the nest across the river at the Cabot Farm.
