Weather Conditions: Beautiful day, and the warmest of the year so far (70sF). Sunny, little wind, no heat shimmer.
Other Activity: I arrived to see the presumed female sitting on the nest. Immediately after, the male flew in and perched on the stick protruding from the platform. No further activity observed.
Observation Method: On foot by scope standing next to my car, parked at the gate. I didn't have time to drive down to the boat ramp but didn't need to given the great viewing conditions.
General Comments: None, except I hope this pair finally succeeds this year!
