Welcome back to another season of live-streaming real-time action from Gloucester, Massachusetts and the osprey nest of Annie and Squam. The webcam has been streaming now since March 20, and no sighting of any Osprey on this nest yet. I expect that the two are working their way north from their wintering grounds and will arrive on the nest any day now. Other Osprey have been sighted in the region.
Enjoy your time observing Annie and Squam in the coming months. These two Osprey first arrived on this nest in 2018, and successfully fledged their first chick in 2019. In total, they have fledged 16 chicks. Amazing! They build a beautiful nest every year. Annie is extremely attentive to her eggs and chicks. Squam, who does all the hunting for food once the nesting season starts, has never failed to produce enough food for Annie and their brood of chicks. They are a model Osprey pair.
