Tour de Greenbelt

Tour de Greenbelt offers untimed routes that can be enjoyed at a rider’s own pace — a half-century (50 miles) and a recreational route (25 miles) on paved roads, and two Gravel Grinder options with off-road excursions into protected forests and reservations. The ride begins at 9:00 am at Allyn Cox Reservation, 82 Eastern Ave., Essex. Please arrive before 8:45 as our driveway is narrow, so we close it at 8:45 to stage the cyclists without having to contend with vehicles.
Riders enjoy cycling past more than 50 of Greenbelt’s protected properties, venturing into state forests, traversing farmland, then returning to Cox Reservation for food & drink from A&B Burgers & Mass Coastal Brewing, and live music under the Big Tent with Get Ready.
