Old Barn Farm Conservation Project in Boxford & North Andover

Greenbelt has an exciting opportunity to acquire and permanently protect approximately 34 acres of vital farmland, wildlife habitat, and scenic land in the communities of Boxford (28 acres) and North Andover (6 acres). The Old Barn Farm property will conserve nearly one-third of the remaining unprotected acreage at Barker Farm — a historic working farm and orchard in continuous operation since 1642 — as well as adjoining wildlife habitat and scenic land.

Streeter Conservation Project in Wenham

Greenbelt is working to permanently protect approximately 125 acres of forest, farmland, wetlands, and trails in Wenham. Together, these natural resources provide vital wildlife habitat and help safeguard a public drinking water supply that serves nearly 90,000 people. The project will also open a scenic trail system for public use for the first time.
