Mostly easy to moderate terrain, we'll begin our 2-3 mile journey at the Castle Trailhead. Along the way we'll visit the Birchbrow Estate ruins, once home to entrepreneur Thomas Sanders. Family heir, Eric Sanders, will be with us to share information about the site before hike leader and Haverhill Trail Steward, Tom Wylie, continues our hike onto the newly marked trail system.
