Annie and Squam have hatched out their first chick either yesterday or today, right on schedule. Yesterday was difficult visibility, even on the archived video, so I never could confirm a chick in the nest but she was very fidgety in the afternoon. Today the sun is out and at about 10:30-11:00am, she was feeding #1.
We can all expect (and hope) the two other eggs hatch in the next 3-4 days….that would be my prediction anyway. I think for all of us, the next 40-50 days are the most fun the watch the webcam. We will keep everyone posted here on what is happening. Thanks for watching!
