Essex County Greenbelt is the region’s premier non-profit land trust working to conserve the farmland, wildlife habitat and scenic landscapes of Essex County.
Greenbelt advances its mission through three areas of operation:
- Land Conservation› Greenbelt’s Land Conservation staff can help familiarize you with the most common options and work with you to find a solution that meets your needs.
- Land Stewardship› The Stewardship staff is responsible for maintaining public access to many of our owned properties.
- Community Engagement› Greenbelt is a regional land trust that recognizes that most land conservation initiative begins at the grass roots, community level.
