Join Greenbelt and BTA/BOLT on Sunday, October 29 for a mid-autumn walk on the Bay Circuit Trail in the Bald Hill Conservation Area. Enjoy the varied natural surroundings and meet many of the people and organizations associated with its protection and ongoing stewardship.

When: Sunday, October 29th from 1:00-3:00 pm

Where: Bald Hill Conservation Area, Boxford

Greenbelt President, Ed Becker, will lead this walk with long-time Bay Circuit Trail advocate Al French. Hike on a wide trail through a mature woodland. As Greenbelt and BTA/BOLT celebrates the work and dedication of Al French, you'll   enjoy varied terrain, and catch last glimpses of remaining fall foliage.

The Crooked Pond-Bay Circuit Trail was relocated after a beaver dam built at the Crooked Pond outflow caused flooding of the original trail. The pond is about twice its former size, and wildlife are benefiting from an expanded pond and wetland.

Hikers will follow the relocated trail to Point 21 on the Bay Circuit Trail before returning by the same route.
