LAND STEWARDSHIP
Land Stewardship is an essential part of Greenbelt's mission, involving the active management and care of our many reservations and the regular monitoring of the conservation restrictions (CRs) held on private land. Greenbelt is dedicated to maintaining positive active relationships with landowners, whose partnership is key to managing the perpetual agreements set forth in CRs.
Greenbelt owns over 200 properties throughout Essex County and holds over 150 conservation restrictions (CRs) and/or agricultural preservation restrictions (APRs).
