| LEAVING
A LASTING LEGACY |
Throughout
the history of the Greenbelt, a number of far-sighted individuals
have chosen to leave a lasting legacy through thoughtful gift planning.
Their generosity has made feasible land protection projects, capacity-building
measures, and the building of an endowment that would not otherwise
have been possible. Over the course of the last four decades, nearly
$1 million in bequests and other testamentary and planned gifts have
been contributed.
Like our founders, these individuals have held a vision for the future
conservation of the Essex County region that led them to take proactive
steps to ensure its integrity. Today, each of us has an opportunity
to become a far-sighted leader of tomorrow. |
