Welcome spring with a brisk hike out to Sawyer's Island and discover the reawakening Great Marsh. Warm up with hot cocoa around a crackling bonfire midway.
Directions:
From the traffic light at Rowley Center, drive north on Route 1A for about 2.0 miles. Turn right onto Stackyard Road. Bear right at the fork to stay on Stackyard Road.
Parking:
Park at the pulloff near the Greenbelt sign, about .1 mile after the fork onto Stackyard Road.
