Moraine Farm Open House - 10am - 3pm
The owners and stewards of Beverly's historic Moraine Farm invite the public to a campus-wide Open House on Saturday, September 29, 10am-3pm. The event will showcase the non-profit partners: Friends of the Olmstead Landscape, The Trustees of Reservations Farm, the Cape Ann Waldorf School, Project Adventure, and Essex County Greenbelt, that share this distinctive North Shore property, either as a property owner or conservation steward. A daylong line up of free historic tours, short films, children's play activities, including zip-line rides, bread making and musical events, and bring-your-own picnicking will welcome visitors. Guests will learn about the specific work carried out by the participating organizations as well as more about the history and future plans for Moraine Farm. The Open House is also part of the 2012 Trails and Sails line-up of activities coordinated by the Essex National Heritage Commission.
This is a 2012 Trails & Sails Event.
