Today Greenbelt learned that the Waltham-based Fields Pond Foundation has approved a $20,000 funding request for the Tompson Street Gateway Project. This grant, along with a recent $5,000 donation from Cell Signal Technology will allow Greenbelt to move ahead with the purchase of the parcel, expanding public access to its largest reservation in Essex County.
