About the Property Monitoring Program

Interested in outdoor volunteer opportunities in and around Cape Ann, Greater Newburyport, Beverly, Boxford and other Essex County towns? Greenbelt’s property monitoring program is designed for our members to act as our eyes and ears on our land.

If this program seems like a good fit, please submit an application below and you will be assigned to a geographically appropriate property.

Types of volunteer activities can include:

Trail clearing
Trail marking and maintenance
Wildlife observation
Leading walks for Greenbelt

Requirements for the program:

Reporting to Greenbelt at regular intervals (minimum of 4 times per year with
a web-based report)
Basic knowledge of trail maintenance
Good physical health
