We work in partnership with municipalities, state and federal agencies, and other nonprofits to make important conservation projects happen. Greenbelt's conservation project assistance takes many forms:
- Technical advice
- Assistance with landowner negotiations
- Joint cultivation of land conservation projects
- Small grants which may cover project costs
- Due diligence
- Financial support for a portion of the purchase price
- Pre-acquiring conservation land when timing is critical
- Drafting and holding Conservation Restrictions on municipal conservation land acquired through Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds
