Interactive Property Management
We want to know, and we think you have the answers. We have always elicited involvement from members and interested naturalists to submit records of their sightings of wildlife and special experiences on Greenbelt land. This helps us manage our properties. Now we are hoping technology will bring your experiences to other members, to interested naturalists and to us.
The Greenbelt web site will soon have a special page for you to submit to us your sightings of wildlife at Greenbelt properties. This information will go into our database of information on each of our properties, so that the respective ecological resources can be preserved. The information will be displayed back on our web page for all visitors to appreciate. Reports of some very rare species will be kept in confidence to protect the species from harm. We would also appreciate reports of vandalism, four wheel vehicles, refuse dumping and other violations.
